A guide to slideshows / visual tributes.

A funeral service is the perfect place to watch pictures and videos of your loved one, bringing to mind the happiest times of our lives. This helpful guide is designed to help you when choosing pictures and videos. Photos can also be shown at Lyndhurst House during refreshments.

How many pictures can I choose?

This depends on how long your chosen song is. For example, a song that lasts 3 minutes 30 seconds could include 35 pictures. This would give 6 seconds per photo including transitions.

Please number each photograph or video in the order that you would like it to play - starting with 1 for the first photo in the file title.

Should I choose Landscape or Portrait photos?

Carmountside Crematorium has Portrait screens therefore Portrait style photos work best. However, we can zoom in to include Landscape photos. Lyndhurst House and Macclesfield Crematorium both use regular Landscape screens.

How can I send pictures and videos?

We recommend sending all pictures and videos on one file. We find We Transfer to be the best service for this. You may visit wetransfer.com and add sigleys@mac.com to your transfer. You can add your song choice to the message section. It is completely free of charge to use. You can also bring hard copies of photos to our office for us to scan.

How long before the funeral do we need the pictures and music?

For all Crematoriums we require all information 7 working days before the funeral service. For services at Lyndhurst House we require all information 5 days before the funeral service.

Display fees at Carmountside Crematorium - £35.00
