A Celebration of Dawn’s life will take place at Ipstones Memorial Hall on Friday September 11th at 11.30am. Will relatives and friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the Memorial Hall.

Jurate’s funeral will take place on Tuesday September 8th, Service at St Edward’s Church, Leek at 1.45pm, followed by interment at Leek Cemetery, Buxton Road.

Brenda Ann Kent of LEek

Suddenly but peacefully at rest on the 20th of August 2026, Brenda, aged 76 years, after courageously battling Parkinson’s since 2018. Devoted Mum to Julie and Mother-in-Law to Lee, treasured Nannie to Ethan and Isla, cherished partner to Andrew, and much-loved Stepmother to Matthew and Edward. Brenda was also a loving sister, sister-in-law, auntie, and a dear friend to many. She will be forever missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
The funeral service will take place at St Luke’s Church, Endon, on Friday the 18th of September at 11:30am, followed by interment at Endon Lawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends are kindly requested to meet at the Church.
Wearing traditional black is not required; please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. If you are able to include a touch of yellow in your attire as a tribute to Brenda, it would be greatly appreciated as it was her favourite colour.
