Betty Alcock (Nee Collier) of Leek and formerly of Rudyard

At rest on September 18th 2024 at the R.S.U.H, Betty aged 88 years of Leek and formerly of Rudyard, the beloved wife of the late John Alcock, much loved mum of Chris and Andrew, dearest mum-in-law of Carol and Lynn, a treasured nan and great-nan and a dear sister-in-law and aunty.

Funeral Monday October 21st, Service at St Edwards Church, Leek at 2pm, followed by Interment at Horton Churchyard. Will friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the church and are invited to wear something blue which was Betty’s favourite colour.

Peacefully on September 13th 2024 at his home in Rushton Spencer, after a long illness bravely borne, Martin aged 69 years, the dearly loved and devoted husband of Hazel, fondly remembered by family and his many friends.

Peacefully at rest on September 19th 2024 at Davlyn House Care Home with her daughter by her side, Joyce aged 97 years, formerly of Horton and Biddulph, a much loved wife to the late Len and the late Syd, devoted mum to Pauline, step-mother to Barbara, John and the late Sheila, mother-in-law of Michael, loving nan to Nicola and Verity, great-nan to Tony and a dear friend and former work colleague at Selectus Ltd, Biddulph.

St Edwards Church, Leek is now hosting support sessions for those affected by bereavement.

The sessions which run every second Tuesday of the month (2.30pm – 4.00pm) will provide an opportunity to meet with others, share stories and memories, while processing your grief at your own pace.

It doesn’t matter if your loved ones funeral was religious or non religious, if you are dealing with a recent or long lasting bereavement, Lynne welcomes all that wish to attend.
